Intern in Europe
Interning abroad in Europe is a wonderful way to immerse yourself in a new country and culture while doing meaningful work and gaining international experience for your resume. Whether you are interested in an internship in Medicine & Healthcare, Journalism, or Veterinary Medicine, a variety of internships in a wide range of settings and fields are available in Romania as well as in a variety of other destinations.
By interning in Europe you will contribute to a developing economy while learning a great deal about your chosen field. From working as a journalist at 'The Village' magazine, to interning at a dog rescue center, interns gain unique experience being directly involved in professional environments in Brasov, Romania. You will be sure to have an experience that varies greatly from anything available in North America and that will set you apart on your resume. Depending on the program, interns will work anywhere from 30 – 40 hours a week. While knowledge of the native language in the country where you are interning is usually not necessary, most interns will be expected to be proficient in both verbal and written English.
Our interns and volunteers come from all over the world, and your international internship in Europe will give you a broader perspective on the world and a deeper understanding of different cultures. You will learn a great deal from your placement and gain further insight into your chosen field, while at the same time providing valuable assistance to your host community.
