Projects Abroad sponsors Charity Ball
Past volunteer Ruth Charlton was a volunteer teacher in South Africa 2 years ago. Back then, she raised enough money to take 15 children from the tiny Refihlile farm school on the trip of a lifetime to the sea. This coming March, Ruth hopes to fulfil the promise she made to the younger students that she'd come back and take them to the beach too. Assisted by other volunteers who taught at the school (including Head Office's Katie Stevens), Ruth is organising a black tie Charity Ball to raise the required funds. The Charity Ball is being sponsored by Projects Abroad and will take place on November 13th at the Lodge Hotel in Putney, London. It should be a lively event with the band Jazz Bomb playing through the night. We'd love to see you there.
Tickets cost £26, and include reception drinks, buffet meal and the live band. Everyone is welcome. Reserve your tickets now, or ask for more information by emailing Ruth at firstname.lastname@example.org.
